A young traveller has shared how to watch TikTok on a flight without Wi-Fi.

Megan, from Chicago, shared the four-step process with her 408,000 followers and was praised for sharing the travel hack.

To use the feature, click on the three lines on the top right of your profile then click 'settings and privacy'.

Next, scroll down to 'offline videos' then click '200 videos' to download 120 minutes of watch time. The videos will download ahead of time with access to Wi-Fi to watch later in the day.

However, the comments on each video don't load and once the limit has been reached users can't download additional content.

Several admitted they'd need far more than 200 videos to satisfy their attention span for the duration of a flight.

'I need more like 20,000,' one said, another wrote: '200 videos is five minutes.'

A third wrote: 'I watch 200 videos in the bathroom before leaving for work.'

Someone else said pre-downloading TikTok videos to watch is 'not fun without the comments'.

Though others were thrilled to learn to simple travel tip.

'How come I never knew this?' one asked, another said: 'The way I found this after my trip.'

'Saving this for my next flight,' another wrote.

Last month a flight attendant has shared the real reason behind the tiny black triangles often seen on plane walls.

Henny Lim, an air hostess with the Philippines-based airline Cebu Pacific, revealed the triangles indicate the best spot on the plane to view the wings clearly.

In a now-viral TikTok video she said the stickers above the middle windows offer the best view of the wings for passengers  - but also let flight attendants know the 'best vantage points for the slats and flaps outside'.
